Living Hope Farm
Living Hope Farm is entering its fourth year as a non-profit, community-oriented agricultural farm. The farm began its transformation in 2010 from a historic farmstead into a vibrant Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) farm. Our CSA is known for producing safe, locally grown food, supporting the local economy, and allow persons to participate in the growing of their food. Members are able to interact with the farmers who grow the food and gain a new perspective on their food source and its nutritional value.
The CSA is the “engine” of the farm that fuels the Living Hope Farm Vision. Living Hope Farm has begun to help the Indian Valley community explore what it means to cooperatively raise food, to farm and manage livestock well in the 21st Century; to treat the land as a treasure, and to think of food as a sacred gift. Living Hope Farm desires to build new connections; moving from commodities to community – from fast food to fresh, local food – and from mindless eating to a respectful, just oriented way of sharing what is grown. We are committed to educating our community, tithing a portion of our produce grown and creating a relationship with the underserved. These interactions are connected to our mission of “Growing food, faith and community” and occur through our small class offerings, chef demonstrations, integration of differently abled persons on the farm, and our tithing initiatives.
Faith directed, sustainable agriculture and community gardening is building new kinds of connections

Rush Around Farm
Rush Around Farm is not your normal farm. It is as much a lifestyle and a a dream as it is a functional farm. We raise kids (ours) and animals in the most natural way possible. That includes dog, goats, chicken and eggs for now and will soon include pigs and cows. We provide as little outside influence as possible with the goal being a self-sustaining, pasture-raised farm and homestead.
We follow sustainable practices, but do not dare use the word organic.
Animals on the farm right now are chickens (layers and broilers), turkeys (standard and heritage), and Large Black Hogs. We also grow fresh veggies seasonally which we occasionally sell on the farm or at farmers markets in and around Pittsburgh and Ligonier.
We are always taking names for our next harvest so if you are interested in signing up for a year of pork, chicken or eggs let us know and we will add you to our list.

UPDATE- We sold the farm in May of 2013 to a wonderful family who - HURRAH - are continuing the farm as a farm. It is now RUSH AROUND FARM, and you can find them on AgMap, Facebook and their blog. They have added new animals and new ideas to that wonderful, historical place.
We were so lucky to have spent ten productive and enjoyable years on such a beautiful property. The support of our neighbors, customers, visitors, 4-H, experienced herders and farmers, PASA, the staffs of NRCS, Project Grass and the Penn State Extension made it the sustainable farm it was and is.
Continue to support your local farmers. Its worth it to all of us.

Bruce's Poultry Processing
We are a custom poultry processor located in Bradford County PA. We started with a homemade plucker and saw there was a need for a small local processor. In 2010 we purchased commercial equipment and built our shop. We are looking forward to the 2014 season. The growing concern over where our meat is coming from has prompted people to start raising and growing their own food, despite the cost of feed. We process chickens and turkeys and this year we are adding ducks, geese and rabbits. We are working on expanding our facility. We have added a 1500 pound a day ice maker to help chill the birds and also added a walk in freezer. In the spring we have Cornish rock cross chicks and broad breasted white turkey chicks available. Call for availability. You do not have to purchase chicks from us. All poultry are welcome.
