When you arrive at the farm you will be greeted by one of our friendly staff to answer all your questions. They will instruct you on the different types of trees available and just where to find them. You will then be given a hand saw and one of our trusty tree carts and the adventure begins.
After you find that perfect tree, Henry's will shake the tree using their tree shaker to remove any loose needles. It will then be drilled for easy set up in your stand strait tree stand. We will also wrap it up tight for easy set up and transportation.

Parsons Tree Farm
The Parsons Tree Farm is a family owned and operated Christmas tree farm in Centre County. Located near State college at 1503 Dix Run Road, Julian PA 16844, the farm has been in the Parsons family since 1921. Bill Parsons, current owner, bought the farm from his father, Jesse Parsons, in 1968. That year, the first Christmas trees were planted on erodible land as a method to conserve soil. During the summer, Bill, his daughter Janet Parsons, sons Robert and Eddie and grandson Shawn prune the trees.
The farm is a "select and cut your own" Christmas tree farm. Families enjoy pursuing and cutting their own special tree. At the “old barn”, the trees are “shaken” to remove loose needles, baled and even drilled for center spike tree stands. While the tree is being prepared for trimming, the families can enjoy hot chocolate, and treats.
Trees can be selected early in the season and then cut and purchased later. Tags are available at the farm in early November. Handmade wreaths are also available for purchase.
Buy locally and reduce your carbon foot print. At Christmas time, only the trees that are sold are cut. Once a tree is cut, a new seedling tree is planted in its place the following spring . The trees reduce erosion, are bio-degradable, and are recyclable as mulch. This Christmas, stop and say hello to Bill Parsons, (Bill is 91 years old this Christmas) his daughter Janet, sons Robert, Eddie and grandson Shawn as they try to make your Christmas tradition of selecting a tree an enjoyable one.

Barlow Worm Composing LLC
Barlow Worm Composting uses composted cow manure as the base and food source for the Eisenia Fetida earthworm, commonly known as the “Red Wiggler.” The manure is hot composted to a temperature above 140 degrees Fahrenheit to kill potential pathogens and weed seeds before feeding to our worms.?
Worm castings are the waste product of earthworms. The worms’ digestive enzymes unlock many of the chemical bonds of the nutrients within the manure. The result is increased nutrients in the most basic form which can more readily be absorbed and utilized by plants.
Worm castings provide a rich organic fertilizer full of microbial life. Thousands of beneficial microorganisms that include bacteria, fungi and protozoa may live in the worm castings. These microorganisms are the building block of healthy soil and vegetation.?
Our Worms produce a product we call Barlow Black Gold Worm Castings.
Worm Tea is the liquid concentrated form of our worm compost. We brew our rich organic worm tea for 24-36 hours. The microbes living in the compost are transferred into the water by way of aeration and feed on black strap molasses until the tea is applied to the soil. During this aeration period, the microbes multiply by the millions. The nutrients in the compost also seep into the water and result in a super-nutritious liquid fertilizer.

Yonies Harness Shop Llc
Yonies Harness Shop is a family-owned business based in the rolling hills of Eastern Lancaster County in Honey Brook, Pennsylvania.
Yonies manufactures synthetic driving harness and tack products to the Amish and Mennonite communities as well as the Harness Racing and Pleasure/Combined Driving communities throughout the world.
Early history - A young boy born into the Daniel Stoltzfus family was blessed to have 2 sisters and 7 brothers. Jonathon was chosen at the age of 12 to help his older sister sew buttons onto his and all his brothers pants, shirts and coats. As the years went by Jonathon began to like sewing so much that he found other ways to satisfy his interest and started producing Amish buggy harnesses. Jonathon soon decided to turn his new endeavor into a business. Yonies Harness Shop was established in 1992.
Why Yonies? Thank you for asking! Yonie is derived from the Hebrew language of Yoni pronounced (YOH nee) which is short for Yehonatan pronounced (yeh ho NAT an). Yehonatan is the Hebrew form of the popular name Jonathan. So we can see that the short English and Amish name for Yonie is John and long form is Jonathon. Yonie is the nickname for John or Jonathon similar to Bob for Robert and Bill for William. The founder of Yonies Harness shop is Yonie Stoltzfus in Pennsylvania Dutch language or John or Jonathon Stoltzfus in English.
Yonies added its first employee in 1995. Yonies business mainly grew by word of mouth from various individuals who used and appreciated our products. We are very grateful for everyone that has recommended us over the years! And we do know who you are!
A unique combination of traditional and modern lifestyles is common in our area where horse and carriages interact with cars and trucks on the streets. Lancaster County is internationally known for its skilled artisans, impeccable craftsmanship, and dedicated work ethic. We aim to carry on that tradition by producing the highest quality synthetic harnesses and tack on the market today.

Centre Hay Associates
I'm a small volume, part-time hay producer who's been focused on horse-quality hay since 2002. Along with a couple neighbors, we make between 4000 and 8000 small square bales of dry hay each year. I pride myself on taking the extra time, providing the extra management to put up hay worthy of a guarantee against mold/dust: "If more than 1 bale out of 100 is too dusty to feed to horses, I'll replace it or refund the purchase price." Having sold nearly 50,000 bales in the past 13 years, I've only had problems with 3 separate lots, and replaced fewer than 40 bales. Approximately half of the hay is pure orchardgrass, the remainder being an alfalfa/orchardgrass mix. I sparingly use herbicides to control weeds... relying mostly on competition from a thick hay crop to battle weeds. A vigorous hay sward is encouraged through timely harvest intervals, proper cutting height, and maintaining adequate soil fertility.
Price: Hay is priced based on forage species, forage quality (early vs. latter cuttings), and weight of bale. Better prices are offered for larger orders. Call for details.
Delivery: I can arrange delivery within 30 miles of the farm, either on pick-up truck or on a wagon, with the possibility of tractor-trailer delivery for larger orders. Delivery charges are based on distance and size of order. Pick up of orders by customers, of course, is always welcome.

We started by providing landscape maintenance and snow removal services. Over our years of experience in landscaping, we have expanded our range of business to present customers with a more extensive choice in services and products. In addition to driveway and parking lot installation, we have attended seminars on the latest methods for crack repairs, patching methods, seal coat application, and types and applications of differing materials. In taking on this venture we have partnered with an individual that has 25 years of experience in the paving and seal coating industry. We are equipped to handle residential and commercial jobs. The services we offer provide enhancement and the feeling of final completion to all projects. Silverbrook, a natural fiber farm, was established in 1981. The picturesque land had been purchased by Jacob Mottorn, son of Pennsylvania Dutch tenent farmers, in 1939. The 237 acre farm includes one of the original 180 acres land grants given by the Commonweath of PA for fighting native Indians.
In 1981, Jacob's daughter and family returned to Pennsylvania from the stressful life of Houston, Tx. The first animals were purchased within a month and consisted of 11 sheep and a pair of angora goats(mohair). Love for the animals soon became a desire to spin their fleeces. The flock continued to expand with Corriedale crossed with Rambouillet or Border Leister/Kericle for natural colored fleeces. Angora rabbits were added. Sheepskins were processed for sale. During the initial years, sales were conducted from the farm or at numerous festivals, craft shows and fairs.
In 1985, a cottage industry was constructed on the farm. The basement served as a fiber sorting, cleaning and dyeing area. The first floor contained products for sale, and the 2nd floor included spinning wheels and knitting machines for production and lessons. Spinning wheels, knitting machines, and hand knit and crochet supplies were added.
Winter weather had become a serious problem due to the long dirt lane. An 1860 victorian home was purchased and restored 1n 1997, one mile from the farm for shop expansion. The new location is accessible all year located on Rt. 119, the major north-south highway in the area. Additional spinning wheel companies and looms were acquired for regular inventory. We offer free lessons with the purchase of floor looms and spinning wheels. Quality yarn companies and silk, rayon, ramie and cotton fibers have been added as well as our own processed linen. With the trend for "green" fibers the store now stocks seaweed, corn, soybean, milk, bamboo,
In 1998, llamas and alpacas were purchased. Llamas are cross bred with an alpaca sire. The resulting fiber is longer and silky.
The current shop is called Silverbrook Fiber Arts and Sheepskins. It is located at 16040 Route 119 N, Marchand, PA 15758-5804. Through the years we have added sheepskin vests, slippers, mittens, gloves, auto steering wheel and shoulder belt covers, bike seat covers, and car wash mitts. Our sheepskins, whites and natural colors, are processed machine washable.
