Thank you for supporting your local farmers' market. The final market for the season in Ambridge will be on Tuesday, November 23, 2010. The markets through November 18th will still be on Thursdays, but the hours will be from 3:00 P.M. til dusk. The only market that will on Tuesday will be the final market. Beaver County Fruit & Vegetable Growers Association sponsor 3 OPEN-AIR FARMERS MARKET with 35 Beaver County growers who actively participate in the markets selling their own grown vegetables and fruit. We have great pride because what we sell is what we grow. Our motto, LOCAL GROWERS-SELLING FRESH began in 2003 to try to get across to the customers we grow what we sell. We have a large variety of fresh produce. Onions, lettuce, rubarb, swiss chard, asparagus in the spring. Tomatoes, peppers, cabbage, egg plant, zuchinni, garlic, berries, leeks, beets, corn, peaches, plums, honey, apples, potatoes in the summer. Potatoes, winter squash, lettuce, cabbage, pumpkins, turnips, parsnips, greens, apples, dried flower arrangements,are available on Thursdays from the first Thursday in May until the Tuesday before Thanksgiving. We are open from 4 to 7 pm. When day light savings time changes we are open from 3 to 6 pm.
