Golden Age Alpacas is a small, family run alpaca farm agisting our alpacas at Cloverleaf Alpacas, Mount Joy, PA. The farm is halfway between Lancaster and Harrisburg, PA, off a major highway making it easy to find and close to lodging and restaurants.
We have chosen to be small so we can have daily hands on care of our alpacas.
The goal on the farm is to raise alpacas with super confirmation and fiber qualities, along with a gentle temperament.
We have many colors and diversified bloodlines including Accoyo and some from the West coast that are hard to find in the East. This makes it easy to put together a start-up package or add to an existing herd.
Our services include sales, payment options, breeding to our excellent sires, boarding, and sale of alpaca commodities; fleece, roving, yarn, and alpaca clothing.
We are open year round by appointment for your alpaca search or fiber needs.
Our BIG OPEN BARN EVENT is the last weekend of October. Come visit with the alpacas, watch fiber arts demonstrations, try your hand at wet felting or drop spindling. The on-site shop will be open for your early holiday shopping. Experience the warmth and softness of alpaca sweaters, socks, mittens, gloves, and scarves. Many items are from handspun yarn from fiber grown on the farm.

Workshops are offered in spinning and wet felting by a Spin-Off judge for alpaca fleece competitions. Call for class information.
We also offer school visits. These are fun and educational.
