We currently have turkey poults for sale that are mixed breeds from three groups of heritage breed turkeys: Royal Palm; Red Bourbon; and Blue Slate. Some of they older ones seem to be the Lilac type produced by the cross from the Blue Slate and Red Bourbon. Our turkeys do well with names like Thanksgiving and Christmas and provide a lean meat with very little fat. Next year, 2009, we will be offering pure bred poults of all three breeds. The poults in quantities up to twentyfive are available on site, they are hatched out weekly. Please call before visiting to see that someone will be on the farm. Thanks.
