A fine evening of picking!!

A fine evening of picking!!

About Us:

We grow seven varieties of highbush blueberries, which typically bear large, easy to pick fruit from early-July through early-August. Blueberries are excellent quality and low-spray. We offer customers an easy and rewarding pick-your-own experience in a beautiful rural setting in the central Bald Eagle Valley. Customers need to call ahead (814-355-2655)to make an appointment, and in the interest of our customer's comfort and blueberry quality, we pick only in the cool of the evenings from 6 PM until dark. Blueberries are sold by the quart, and we provide all the equipment necessary to enjoy easy, efficient picking. Customers should bring their own containers to carry their blueberries home in, and remember to dress for the weather and ground conditions as pick-your-own blueberries is an outdoor experience. We pick every weekday, and usually Saturday and/or Sunday depending on blueberry harvest volume and weather.
Beginning on June 25 we take calls at 814-355-2655 (please call between 8am-9pm) for reservations for an evening of picking. We cannot schedule picking appointments prior to June 25 because the full ripening of the blueberries is highly dependent upon rainfall, sunshine and temperature and can vary from year to year.
Lamb and goat sales for slaughter and custom butchering by off-site processor. Lamb and goat are entirely pasture raised on our farm. Availability may vary from year to year, but animals are typically taken to slaughter in late October-November.
