Windy Springs Farm has been in business for 50 years. It is owned and operated by Tom & Matt Mood, fourth generation farmers. Our father, the late C. Wilmer Mood, established the farm in 1962.
Field crops such as corn, soybeans, wheat, rye and oats are raised. Hay and straw are available for sale at the barn or local deliveries.
We are also known for the delicious sweet corn, tomatoes and cantaloupes we raise along with many other seasonal vegetables. These are sold July through October at our roadstand on Rt. 663. During
the summer months on Saturday mornings, Tom goes to Coopersburg Growers Market and Matt heads to Lansdale Farmer's Market. Matt's wife, Rachel heads to Telford for the Indian Valley Market. Fresh produce can be purchased wholesale and retail. We are members of PA Farm Bureau and Better Business Bureau.
Windy Springs also raises around 100 head of Simmental beef cattle. This type of beef is known for their fast growth and lean meat. We do not use hormones or antibiotics in our feed. You get the best tasting quality beef for your freezer by the quarter or half for a reasonable price. Select cuts are available. We sell cage free fresh frozen chicken and brown eggs.
