About Us:

After visiting the Botanical Gardens in Fairbanks, Alaska and seeing the beautiful rows of Peonies they had blooming. I decided to clear an over grown field and turn it into a flower farm. The peony that was most stricking in Alaska was the Paula Fay. This is one of the varities that is available. Hydrangeas are also a favorite flower the farm offers these as well. All of the plants are grown in the farm field.

Tag a Peony in Spring and return in Fall to pick up your division. A few potted peonies are available for Spring transplanting.

PAEONIA, Peony herbaceous ߣHardy perennial, east to grow, long lived. Full sun, drought tolerant, deer resistant, begins blooming mid May, Zone 3-7.

Forty different named peony varieties are available. There are also a few unnamed varieties as well. Resulting in over 400 plants. The blooming season starts early May and continues for a few weeks into mid June. It's a beautiful sight to see.

Hydrangeas ߣPerennial shrub, Sun to Part shade, full morning sun and afternoon shade. Prefer moist, acidic well drained soil. Most varieties bloom on old wood. Zone 5-9. To encourage blue flowers maintain a ph 5.0-5.5 using aluminum sulfate to acquire this target, to encourage pink flowers maintain a ph 6.0-6.5 using lime. Care must be used when trying to adjust the normal ph of your garden. Too much of either additive could be hazardous to the plant. A safe approach would be to enjoy the color your garden produces.
