Full Circle Mushroom Compost, Inc. has been owned by the Needham family since 1987. They are third generation farmers, but also lifetime innovators. They have been awarded on several occasions for their innovations in farming, soil conservation, and odor reduction with the process of composting.
Pasteurized Mushroom Compost is a product that benefits many different aspects in a growing environment. Mushroom Compost is initially used in food production and therefore highly regulated and formulated. Attributes include high water, organic matter and nutrient holding capacity that improves soil microflora, relieves compaction and reduces the need for synthetic fertilizer. Whether it is flowers, grass/hay, vegetables, turf, trees/shrub stock or grains, plants will thrive with the addition of mushroom compost to their environment. It is particularly useful in erosion control, wetland restoration, acid mine drainage, no-till, organic farming and inhibiting Artillery Fungus in wood chip mulch.
Our compost is also approved by Mid-Atlantic State Agencies for industrial, roadside reclamation and commercial redevelopment projects.
