Ngozi Eco-Village Natural and Organic Farmers' Market will also assist in:
• Economic vitality and affordability by providing livelihood for people and by providing affordable nutritional food.
• Foster native natural systems and species,
• And encourage community involvement by being a focal point of community activities and by raising the community's awareness of their ties to the land.
NOFM will operate every Wednesday from 2:00 p.m. to 7:00 .p.m. from June to November depending on the weather. Our new location 1233 N. 3rd Street at Historic Broad Street Market on the plaza, in Harrisburg, Pa. Dauphin County.
The village will feature, an open air seasonal mobile farmer's market vendors selling directly to consumers fresh fruits and vegetables, children's activities which will focus on urban farming, and workshops on youth development, entrepreneurship, civics, and economic concepts. Youth will assist in the ongoing design of the eco-village. Including developing the village flag, currency and signage. It will also feature mini-health fairs, traditional and performing artists.
