Highfield Dairy is a small 43 acre farm. We make cows milk cheeses and goat cheese. We also make a frozen dessert using cow heavy cream and goat milk. My base is like a french custard. Comes in a number of flavors,also maket fruit sorbets with organic fruit and market fruit depending on what is avaible.I raise whey fed hogs through the year and self direct to the consumer.
I have a herd of purebred Scottish Highland cattle that are for seed stock,bulls and for direct to consumer beef.
We also have small amount of chickens for "rainbow eggs" and sell eggs direct and use in the ice cream and pierogies.
We sell in the Washington DC area,Phildelphia,and Pittsburgh area trough farmers markets,restaurants and Whole Foods . Asearch on yahoo.com will find a few things about us.
