About Us:

Pleasant Valley Farm offers organic, free range chicken and pork as well as seasonal vegetables, fresh herbs and farm fresh eggs. We are a family-run farm that believes in producing food that is good for you and the environment too! Our animals are treated with care and have plenty of room to run, play and enjoy fresh air. We raise beef, pork, lamb and chicken. All our meat comes from animals raised on pasture and without the use of antibiotics or growth enhancing chemicals. We specialize in fresh brown eggs, but have a limited amount of white and beautiful blue-green chicken eggs also. Our fields and gardens are farmed using Belgian work horses, fertilized using organic methods and without the use of chemicals. We also offer organic herbs, gourmet mustard, flavored vinegars, salsas and other sauces as well as home grown corn meal at our farm stand.

Pleasant Valley Farm hatches live chicks throughout the spring and summer months. We are proud members of the American Livestock Breeds Conservancy (ALBC), which supports the preservation of endangered breeds of heritage livestock and poultry. We currently offer the following breeds: Ameracauna, Barred Rock, Buff Orpington, Delaware, Giant Blue Cochin, Polish Crested and Phoenix. We also offer Bantam chickens: Black-tailed Buff Japanese, and Birchin Cochin. If you are new to raising chickens, we'll be happy to help find a breed that is right for you! We also hatch Pekin ducklings, as well as Embden and Toulouse goslings. We have large, meat-type rabbits which come in a variety of colors and make great pets too!
