We are a certified organic farm located in south-central Pennsylvania close to Gettysburg. You may have heard of us before, we recently changed our name from Oyler's Eden Valley Farms to Oyler's Organic Farms. We feel that our new name more accurately reflects our way of thinking and farming.
We have 360 acres of land which are certified organic. Our products meet the USDA seal of approval. We are certified by Pennsylvania Certified Organic, which is an approved certifier of the USDA. The 2010 harvest will be our third crop to be certified organic.
Currently we grow organic apples, organic hay, and organic baleage. Our farm is a family farm and we own and operate it. As stewards of the land we strive for healthy soil and subsequently healthy plants. We planted baby trees in the spring of 2008 and the spring of 2009 which are not yet bearing fruit. Look for organic peaches and more apple varieties in the future!
