About Us:
Slack farm was established in the mid 1800's and the diary farm was passed on to the last generation in 1951 to Carl and Janice Slack. We sold our dairy herd in 1988 but have continued to crop farm. We recently established the Milk House Farm Market in the old milk house part of the dairy barn. Brenda Slack and her father now run the market which specializes in outstanding Sweet Corn. We have over 100 chickens that lay delicious brown and green (yes, green) eggs which are available daily in the market. Depending of course on the weather, we should start having lettuce and spinach to offer in May and then steadily increase our produce offerings, as mother nature permits, through October and November with our unbelieveable varieties of unique gourds and pumpkins. We will update this site regularly to let you know what we currently have to offer. Mr. Slack continues to sell hay, straw, and mulch hay year round. Brenda loves growing cut flowers and has developed quite a following for her generous bouquets of Sunflowers and Zinnia's. Our customers say coming to our farm is like going back in time to how Bucks County used to be.
