Harrisburg's Broad Street Market is the oldest continuously operating farmers markets in the country. It was originally established by the Verbeke family in 1860 on Broad St (now named 3rd Street). The Brick Market and the Stone Eatery house vendors of fresh produce, meat, cheese, flowers, baked items, specialty foods, prepared foods and consumer goods. The courtyard hosts seasonal vendors and special events. This historic gem is a gathering place and a retail hub of the Capital City. Come shop for everyday and special occasion treats. Parking is plentiful with two lots and diagonal parking along the buildings.
