Bailey Wood Products, Inc. has been producing Pennsylvania hardwoods since 1928. The founder Howard Bailey bought a portable sawmill to make some additional income to help pay the mortgage on his newly purchased farm. Since then the company has grown and evolved to meet the changing needs of its customer base. The one thing that has remained the same is the care that goes into producing quality lumber from Pennsylvania's timber resource and the friendly service Bailey Wood Products has greeted its customers with over the last seven decades.

We have the capability to take the log from its raw form and process it all of the way through to a finished kiln dried product such as flooring, moulding, furniture grade hardwood lumber, paneling, decking, timbers, hardwood counter tops, bar tops, edge glued panels for cabinetry, stair treads, and other manufactured wood products. We are able to produce wide plank flooring on a custom basis on our Weinig moulder in all of the species that we stock. If you are looking for material that we don't have in stock, we have suppliers that handle hardwoods from all over the world. We will do our best to produce the product that you are looking to find.

Aromatic Cedar, Ash, Basswood (Linden), Birch, Catalpa, Cherry, Maple, Hickory, Poplar, Sassafras, Red Oak, White Oak, White Pine, Walnut, Mahogany, Sycamore, Bloodwood , Bubinga, Butternut, Makore, Spanish Cedar, Ipe, Padauk, Jatoba, Lacewood, Quarter Sawn Oak, Quartersawn Sycamore, and others.
Our machining capabilities include a tooling room that allows us to grind custom profiles to match your specifications. This allows us to do custom profiles for restoration work of older mouldings that are not available as a stock item at your local lumber yard. If you can provide us with a sample piece of what you wish to replicate or a scaled drawing we can manufacture the tooling to produce that product for you. We can also manufacture custom unfinished hardwood flooring in a variety of widths from 3" to 9" and for special orders even wider. If you wish to have that older more rustic look to your project, flooring can be manufactured on a custom basis from reclaimed lumber such as Heart Pine, Chestnut and other species as acquired.
