Happy Farm sits on 11 beautifull acres in Upper Bucks County. It is run by partners Tom Colbaugh and Jean Nick. We have some woods and pasture combined and are next to rolling farm lands. We are currently featuring pasture raised fresh brown eggs layed by the Heritage breed Buff Orpington. We will be following them with a rainbow selection of Heritage breed layers and Moyer's[Quakertown, Pa] brown layers in the middle of July. All of our hens have approximatley 32 square feet each of fresh pasture to roam on and we mean fresh since they recieve new pasture every 4-5 days. This is why we took the name Happy Farm since we believe are animals are extremely happy in this environment. This is also why we believe our eggs are the most nutritious you can buy. And speaking of nutrition. We are currently raising broilers on the same pastured system. They will be available fresh throughout the summer and fall and we will have a limited number frozen as well. In November we will have Turkey's available . This past spring we rented out pairs of chicks to the local area. We rented interested folks a pair of chicks, food and bedding supplies and a box to put them in for two weeks along with naming rights. Come visit the farm anytime, we have ducks, a rabbit and we almost always have baby chicks to see. Just give us a call to let us know when you are coming
