About Us:

Happy Farm sits on 11 beautiful acres in Upper Bucks County. We have some woods and some open pasture and are surrounded by rolling preserved farm land with views east toward New Jersey. We produce fresh brown eggs from hens raised on clean, green pasture. Our hens (and our handful of tired, but happy, roosters) have access to portable buildings for shade and rain protection when they want it and approximately 32 square feet each of fresh pasture to roam on and we mean fresh since they get moved to new pasture every 10 to 14 days. This is why we took the name Happy Farm since we believe are animals are extremely happy in this environment. Eggs raised on pasture are the most nutritious you can buy. We also raise plump, juicy broiler chickens on pasture and hand butcher them on the farm once a week from April through November. In the fall we have whole Turkeys that are also raised on pasture, and start taking deposits for them in July because we always sell out before Thanksgiving. In the fall we also have grass-fed lamb by the cut. At Easter we rent out pairs of chicks. Come visit the farm! In addition to chickens we have big fuzzy white dogs, ducks, a pet heritage turkey, geese, sheep, goats, and we almost always have baby chicks and ducklings. Just contact us to set up a time. Learning opportunities available by the day or the season are available as well.

We are not certified organic but we use no synthetic pesticides, herbicides, or genetically modified products on our farm and neither do the local farmers that produce our poultry food (grain, roasted soy, and natural minerals and probiotics, ground fresh every two weeks for maximum nutrition). No routine antibiotics, medicated feed, or artificial hormones are ever used.

At Happy Farm strive to co-exist with our local wildlife and to improve the land. Portable electric mesh fences keep our local foxes and coons away from our birds and large fuzzy white guard dogs remind the hawks and owls that Happy Farm chicken is not on their menu.

Come see us at the Doylestown Farmers Market, the Wrightstown Farmers Market, or the Emmaus Farmers Market or e-mail/call to stop by the farm. Enjoy our products at the Farmhouse restaurant in Emmaus and Bolete restaurant in Bethlehem.
