About Us:
The Cambria County Conservation District offers many services including two no-till grain drills for rent. One is a Truax end wheel design and the other is a Vermeer rear wheel design. The rate is $10/acre. We also offer a soil sampling service for a fee of $6/field or strip, with our truck mounted mechanical soil sampler. We manage and offer programs at the Disaster's Edge Environmental Center located in the 1889 Park at St. Michael, PA. Duman Lake County Park is managed by us too. We administrate the Cambria County Farmland Preservation Program here and do mineral assessment services for the County.
