The Lion's Club has been sponsoring this farmers' market for about 10 years. In addition to a wide variety of locally-grown fruits and vegetables, we feature organic beef, organic vegetables, fresh-made Mexican salsa, home-made root beer, specialty breads, herbs, and flowers (bedding and cut flowers. We have Middle Eastern ready-to-eat foods, such as gyros, spinach pies, stuffed grape leaves and baklava for dessert!
Come on out on Wednesday afternoon and see all your friends and neighbors here. And buy some fresh, locally produced products from the 12- 15 farmers and small business-people who all live and work in the SW Pa region. They will be happy to tell you about their farm or their business.
We're located between the Mt. Lebabnon Business district and South Hills Village on Rt. 19
The Lions Club is the largest service organization in the world. We sponsor programs for visually impaired people all over the world. Proceeds from this market go to programs in the Pittsburgh area, as well as for the public safety building in Mt. Lebanon.
