Peace Valley Winery
Peace Valley Winery began in 1968 with the creation of Susan's Vineyard. This small 3 acre vineyard has expanded to over 20 acres where we have grown over 20 varities of grapes. The winery opened in 1984 and has been producing award winning wines ever since. Our current wine list includes:
Chardonnay Reserve: Cold fermented with oak. Light and dry with tropical fruit flavors
Traminette: Moderately dry white Gewurtztraminer hybrid.
Merlot: Medium bodied red with strong berry and cherry flavors, soft tannins with a vanilla accent
Excalibur: Full bodied, very dry red wine aged with oak
New Britian Red: Moderately dry full bodied oaky red. A true Italian style classic.
Nouveau: Released the weekend before thanksgiving.
New Britian White: German Riesling style white wine.
New Britain Rose: A light bodied semi dry red wine made with the Steuben grape.
Spring Fling: Mid April Release. German style may wine flavored with woodruff. Limited release
Chalfont Rouge: Light pink wine with a refreshing fruity flavor
Fredonia: Concord hybrid. Wonderful red color and grapey flavor.
Niagara: Intense floral and grapey flavor.
Blushing Apple: Sweet apple wine with a touch of red wine added for color.
Summer Solstice: Mid June Release. A very sweet white wine with fruit flavors. Limited Release.
Spiced Apple: Blushing Apple wine with cinnamon and other spices
Spiced Wine: Hearty red wine with a stimulating blend of spices.
Peace Valley is not just a winery however, we also are a pick your own farm. We have four acres of dwarf apple trees, pick your own grapes, blackberries, and strawberries.
We have now expanded into pick your own vegetables and melons as well. we carry a wide variety of tomatoes, peppers, cabbage, broccoli, melons, eggplants, herbs and cut flowers.
Stop by the winery to taste our great wines, and visit during the harvest season to pick up great fresh vegetable straight from the field.
