100% Natural Fibers
On our pastures we raise registered Cheviot, Blue faced Leicester and Leicester Longwool sheep and crosses for wool, meat and breeding stock. We produce raw fleece, washed fiber, roving , quilt and comforter batts, felted pads and various yarns made from our wool and alpaca fiber. Hand-dyed two and three ply 100% natural fiber yarns are available in numerous shades as well as homespun fibers. You'll find warm, wonderful socks made from our flock's fibers to be just what you need for hiking or around the house wear. We also offer raw cashmere fiber from the goat herd.
We also make soaps using goats' milk. Unique sheep decorations are available here. Knitting, spinning and fiber preparation instruction is available by appointment. Artists may want to consider scheduling for rural life painting sessions on the farm. Our herbs and vegetables are available as they grow. We currently are not a CSA. We offer consulting on small ruminant start-up.
